Dr. Onequa Hampshire is an educator that believes all children can learn and when offered the opportunity with assistance, they can strive toward higher heights. She currently teaches 6th-grade math, she is the math department chair, and she is an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University. Dr. Hampshire holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Central State University in Wilberforce Ohio, a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield Michigan, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University in Minneapolis Minnesota.  In June 2019, she volunteered her time with the Center 4 TransAtlantic Leadership and Progressive Studies program to provide about 50 teachers with professional development activities that would assist them in their classrooms.
